General Comment: PRKosmic entered the Ontario karting market this season and immediately became one of the most recognizable and well known teams in the paddock. The North American debut of a Kosmic DD2 chassis was much talked about and the new marque was quickly recognized by its signature pink, blue and chrome colors. The team put Kosmic on the podium in its first weekend out, and created a string of podiums through three events with each team driver gaining at least one podium. France and Hibbs now stand fourth and fifth in the Ontario Regional DD2 Championship, one of the largest fields for DD2 in North America, and Adams has gained recognition as one of the top juniors in the country this season racing Rotax in Ontario and Quebec. PRKosmic benefits from a total team approach to race weekends and capitalizes on unique partnerships with industry leading On Track Promotions and RACEPR. Already set to expand for 2010, all involved realize things are only going to get bigger and better!
Why do you choose J3/Kosmic: The formation of PRKosmic saw a friendship formed at the track develop into a business partnership off of it. Petri Ranta has known John and Jim Giacomelli for close to twenty years through the sport of karting, and when Ranta made the decision to form his own team, Kosmic and the support of J3 Competition was an obvious fit. It was a marque he knew well, and results were immediate - confirming the belief he’d had since day one.
