Vortex RVXX 125
RVX 'X'125 is the latest engine manufactured by VORTEX, and is CIKFIA homologated and assigned to the KZ1 and KZ2 classes. The new engine has in common with its successful forerunner, RVX 125, the single-cylinder architecture with water cooling through an external pump and power delivery via six-speed gearbox. The RVX 'X' engines offers a completely new intake with different carburetor mounting angle, which improves the mixture into the lower-end of the engine. Also changed with the RVX 'X' is the shape of the exhaust ports - this is also a noticeable improvement on the engines performance.
Through these changes that Vortex has achieved maximum power output. Close attention has been dedicated to every single detail as usual and the evolution that is the 'X' will allow for Vortex drivers to gain the extra time required to beat the competition.

Vortex RVX 125
RVX 125 is the latest engine manufactured by VORTEX, and is CIKFIA homologated and assigned to the KZ1 and KZ2 classes. The new engine has in common with its successful forerunner, RVS 125, the single-cylinder architecture with water cooling through an external pump and power delivery via six-speed gearbox. The RVX project offers a completely new, more compact and lighter crankcase that enables the cylinder and head to be mounted in a nearly vertical position. Such inclination improves the dynamics of the airflow as it enters the crankcase. The reed valve and the cylinder group evolution provided accurate thermodynamic research regarding the air flow and the liquid cooling channels.
Through these changes and the resulting increase in cooling system performance, Vortex has achieved maximum power output. Close attention has been dedicated to every single detail. Changes include the following: lighter clutch cover, which better surrounds and protects the mechanic parts; relocated clutch cable attachment to improve ease of use, and a practical ability for clutch adjustment; further more the vacuum pump has been moved from the left to the right side, providing the possibility to set the fuel pump on the engine through suitable clamps. Not to be forgotten, an air flow passage has been created on the lower half of the crankcase; helping to improve the flow of air which assists the cooling under the engine.
Did we mention the RVX is the lightest engine in its class - well, we just did!

Vortex MINIROK
The Minirok 60cc is an engine which Vortex has entered in the world for the younger driver. Built according to the new CSAI FIK as well as TaG USA technical rules of the Italian MINI 60cc and BABY 60 cc categories, the Minirok is a completely innovative engine for the younger!
Vortex has developed two Minirok engines: Minirok MINI 60cc and Minirok BABY 60cc; the two versions differ from one another in carburetor and exhaust.
Minirok BABY 60cc: supplied with carburettor Ø 14mm and baby exhaust (reduced power); dedicated to the youngest; it is the entry level in the karting world.
Minirok MINI 60cc: supplied with carburettor Ø 18mm and mini exhaust; it is the second step in competitions, usually from 9 to 12 years old drivers.
Technical characteristics : It is an air cooled piston port engine, where the body and the head of the engine have been dimensioned in order to obtain the greatest thermal and dimensional stability, paying particular attention to the most stressed part near the exhaust. The constructive architecture of the engine is that of a high performance engine. The gravity chill castings, the cast iron liner with a great thickness, the head with the radial fins, the crankcase with wide air passages for the cooling are only some of the characteristics that have been moved into this project. Also, the cycle of the mechanical manufacturing is exactly that, which helps the engines of superior categories to reach the performing levels that we can see nowadays. The centrifugal clutch is assembled with a monolithic rotor and the electric starter on board is completed with the configuration of an engine. It’s important to underline that thanks to this manufacturing method, all the engines have the same performances and this keeps the qualitative standard high and constant. Tired of spending $$$ to buy several engines to finally get a 'Good One'? Those days are long-gone when you mount a MINI ROK on your young drivers chassis!
