Today was mixed for the team at J3 Competition with the overall outcome positive.  After three official practice sessions the team was fully prepared for the qualifying session that insued on during the afternoon.

The first team driver to take the track was round #1 winner and Championship leader, Tristan DeGrand.  Once the checkered flag flew, DeGrand would be classified in fifth place, however, after post-race weigh in Tristan would gain a spot due to an unfortunate DQ of a fellow competitor.  Starting fourth for all three heats tomorrow ...

During the weekend of June 13-14, Shin Iguchi waved the J3 Competition colors at the WKA regional event at New Jersey Motorsports Park.  Competing in the hotly contested TaG Sr. class, Iguchi was utilizing Vortex ROK TT power by J3 Competition couple with the winning Kosmic Mercury chassis.  The track at NJMP was new for Iguchi, so during the official practice day on Friday Shin worked closely with John Giacomelli in order to better understand the layout and its demands.

After an eventful and great start to the fourth round of the WSK series in Genk Belgium - the team at J3 Competition has returned stateside. The weekend was positive in many respects and the team has taken away several positive and motivational tools for its next trip to Europe.
